Homesteading is already an exciting endeavor when it’s done on land. You have the challenges of growing food on what little acreage you can afford. Then you have everything else that wants to eat your food as well. It’s a tough job, there is no getting around it. You are trading your sweat for liberty. It’s a transaction most of us need.
The couple in this video have taken homesteading to a whole new level. In fact, they have even taken it to a whole pristine environment. They are homesteading off a boat. They call it long term sailing and it’s a pretty noble endeavor.
Maybe you will never attempt something as wild as this, but I can assure you it’s a very impressive video. To see how this idea was born and how it has taken off is just another look at homesteaders in action. When I see couples or groups taking on the trials of the homestead, I get excited. I see American innovation at it again. To me, that’s the most powerful force on earth.
